The American Legion
California Boys & Girls State Alumni Association

The American Legion California & Girls Boys State Alumni Association was formed in November 2000 as part of The American Legion California Boys & Girls State Foundation. The purpose of the Alumni Association is to create a long-lasting connection for Alumni and provide assistance and support to the American Legion California Boys & Girls State Program.

Membership Eligibility:

  • American Legion California Boys & Girls State Alumni (Delegates who attended the Program after their Junior Year of High School.)
  • Anyone who has served on The American Legion California Boys & Girls State Staff
  • Supporters of The American Legion California Boys & Girls State Program (Legionnaires, Parents, School Counselors, etc.)

Membership Fee (Donation):

The fee (donation) for membership in the American Legion California Boys & Girls State Alumni Association is a donation in any amount to The California Boys & Girls State Foundation. We request a minimum donation of $25.00.

(The California Boys & Girls State Foundation is exempt from State of California income tax under Section 23701(d) of the Revenue and Taxation Code, and from Federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Please consult your personal tax advisor for tax deductibility as a charitable donation.)

Membership Application Process:

Those wishing to join the Alumni Association may do so in one of the following ways:

  • Current Year Delegates
    • Purchase of one the Special Pre-Session Delegate Packages includes Alumni Association Membership. Your Pin and Membership Card will be given to you prior to the end of the Program.
    • If you have not chosen to purchase a Special Pre-Session Package, Alumni Membership can be obtained through your City Counselor or visiting the Boys & Girls State Directors Office.
  • All others:
    • Download the Membership Application (link here)
    • Complete the Application Form
    • Mail the Application and your Donation (check made payable to The California Boys & Girls State Foundation to:
